Ubisoft’s unveiled a brief trailer for upcoming survival title I Am Alive for your consumption.

Check it out below.

Originally a retail release before making the transition to a digital-only download title, I Am Alive has players struggling in a post-apocalyptic setting, where you’ll have to carefully manage resources as you push to survive in a deadly and hostile environment.

The game will be available to download for PlayStation Network, PC and Xbox Live in Q1 2012.

Looks like the gameplay might make use of static camera angles (old Res Evil/Silent Hill style) I hope so!

ubisoft must be scared out of their wits after naughty dog surprised everyone last weekend anouncing their new title "the last of us!" similar idea but this trailer comes no where close to "the last of us" as far as the emotional aspect/ intrest. i love survival horror and time will tell. ;)

Both Ubisoft and Naughty Dog are brilliant developers, but they different approached altogether. So don't be surprised when the two'd come out to be as different as night and day.
