Capcom has just announced that two of the most iconic characters in video game history—Pac-Man and Mega Man—have just joined the Street Fighter X Tekken roster. The best part? They’re exclusive to PlayStation versions of the game.
That’s right, Namco and Capcom are bringing their biggest characters to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the cross-over fighting game, exclusively. This brings the total tally of extra characters in Street Fighter X Tekken to 5: Cole MacGrath (Infamous), Toro & Kuro (Sony mascots), and last but not least, Pac-man and Mega Man.
And for the first time ever, we’re seeing Mega Man in a brand-new light. Capcom has created a 3D model of the Blue Bomber to reflect the way he looked on the cover of the original game.
Street Fighter X Tekken will be punching and kicking store shelves on March 6 and 9 in North America and Europe respectively, on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The Vita version will be released sometime in 2012.

Did I miss the game where Mega Man essentially became my dad in spandex?
