PlayStation Vita has sold over 1.2 million

Global sales of PlayStation Vita have surpassed 1.2 million, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has revealed.
The next-generation handheld arrived in Japan on December 17, 2011 and launched in North America and Europe on February 22, 2012.
Sony also confirmed that software sales have hit two million across both retail and PlayStation Network to date.
SCEI President and Group CEO, Andrew House, commented: “PS Vita was designed to deliver the ultimate portable entertainment experience, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the reaction we’re seeing from consumers and the pace at which PS Vita is selling.”
House added: “The market has responded and there is clear demand for a mobile device capable of providing a revolutionary combination of rich gaming and social connectivity within a real world context. To sustain momentum, we’re working closely with 3rd party developers and publishers to ensure the best games and franchises possible will be available on PS Vita, and our software line up for the remainder of 2012 will have something for everyone across the globe.”

uncharted is awesome, but thats a given. i am ready for some japan studio titles now. gravity rush looks good, but i want a new ip tailored specifically for the vita. hopefully the guy that created loco roco is hard at work on something new and wonderful (though i wouldnt be upset if hes making loco roco 3). get more of this "only possible on vita" titles out there and a price drop and these thing will sell like hot cakes. these launch figures mean nothing compared to the ones for christmas.

Since I've got my Vita I stopped playing on my I-phone, for this is the best hand-held expérience ever and ten times better than 3DS, at least I dont feel sick whilst playing my Vita! Plus I don't even have Uncharted yet because I don't Rayman Origins because there was a 40% discount and brought stardust for 3€. The only négative thing I found with the Vita is that your PS Vita trophys don't show on your PSN when your on PS3 and messages sent from your PS3 don't show up on your Vita, hey, I had to find something wrong with the best hand-held ever made, lol!
