Konami’s announced that PlayStation Vita title Silent Hill: Book of Memories will miss its planned March 2012 launch.

The multiplayer-centric horror outing has been delayed to an unspecified date, having originally been pencilled in for release on March 27.

"Unfortunately Book of Memories has been delayed. Stay tuned for a more formal announcement,” Konami told RipTen.

March has been a busy month for Silent Hill fans, with both Silent Hill: Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection hitting store shelves in the U.S. and Europe.

I can only hope that Konami takes this extra time to fix any issues that it may have, which is unlike what it did with the HD Collection.

And please, whether you did it or not, Konami, don't censor this game either.
