Sony Computer Entertainment today revealed that the classic PS One RPG The Legend of Dragoon is coming to the PlayStation Network on May 1, according to the PlayStation Blog. Released in North America for the original PlayStation in 2000, the game takes place in Endiness and features multiple playable characters.
The project started back in 1996 and a team was assembled at the same time as games like Ape Escape and Ico were in production. More than 100 people worked internally in the studio on The Legend of Dragoon. It was such a big game that it was spread over four CDs.
Shu Yoshida, president, SCE Worldwide Studios says he still hears from fans of the game wanting a sequel. At one point there was a sequel in the works, but it was cancelled for some unknown reasons

Wonderful!
Maybe now there is a better chance for a sequel, after this gets released.

Never played it, never will. Back then, most of us played real games, not this stuff. If you showed up at my house with this game, you would be destined for an a s s kicking.
