The first images of hotly-anticipated sequel Dead Space 3 have invaded the net today, giving us the clearest indication yet that the sci-fi horror romp is to feature co-op.
Courtesy of AGB, the screenshots depict returning hero Isaac Clarke alongside newcomer John Carver, who was recently featured in a new Dead Space-themed graphic novel short. Carver, an Earthgov Sergeant, is seen teaming up with Clarke as the pair fight off Necromorphs.
We’ve already voiced our opinion on the whole co-op element appearing in Dead Space, and suffice to say it isn’t exactly the direction we were hoping the franchise would take.
Regardless, expect EA to blow the lid off the game at E3 next week. Stay tuned.
