Watch Dogs, the stunning-looking new IP from Ubisoft Montreal, will be hitting consoles and PC in 2013.
The official word comes via the game’s Twitter account, which simply states: “The game will be released in 2013 and will be released on PC and consoles.”
Unveiled during publisher Ubisoft’s E3 press conference on Monday evening, Watch Dogs immediately turned heads and set tongues wagging thanks to its gorgeous visual presentation, audio, and original concept.
The game takes the form of an open-world actioner where players are able to hack electronic systems as protagonist Aiden Pierce. As such, you’ll be able to jam cellphones, tapping phone calls, and even manipulating things like traffic lights to aid you in completing your goals.
