Sony’s confirmed that it will be implementing PSone Classics support for PlayStation Vita in Firmware v1.8.

The update will be made available at some point this summer, though that’s about all we know at present in regards to a release date.

Sony announced during E3 that PSone Classics would be coming to its new handheld this year, with the likes of Final Fantasy VII and Tomb Raider among the first batch of retro-tastic titles on offer. More will follow soon after.

Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details as we get them.
