EA Sports still struggling with server issues as gamers locked out of FIFA 12

The servers for FIFA 12 aren’t great. Ask anyone who plays FIFA 12 on a regular basis, including us, and they’ll tell you that since the game launched back in September 2011 it can be a bit a gamble whether you actually get to play a game online or not. When the servers are up and running perfectly, FIFA 12 is a brilliant multiplayer game, but the issue still keeps rearing its ugly head.

After two hours of alternating between PS3 and Xbox 360, constantly trying to connect to the FIFA servers this week we gave up.

The good news? EA Sports is totally aware of the issues. Today, via its offical Twitter account, EA Sports has tweeted that “We're aware of the issues affecting PS3 users and are currently investigating. Thank you for your patience.”

Let’s hope then that in the coming weeks we’ll get to play more online than we do offline.
