Remember Me, an all-new IP from Capcom, is currently in development for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, the company announced today.
Due out in May 2013, the game takes the form of a futuristic action title, and is currently in the works at French-based studio Dontnod Entertainment.
The company boasts quite the impressive pedigree, featuring the likes of Oskar Guilbert (former head of developer relations at Criterion Games), Alain Damasio (a science fiction writer) and Aleksi Briclot (an art director who has previously worked with Wizards of the Coats).
Fittingly, Remember Me will take place in the year 2084 in Neo-Paris, France, and concerns the purchasing and selling of memories. The game will blend melee combat and platform sequences not too dissimilar to the Uncharted series.
Players hop into the shoes of former elite memory hunter Nilin, who has the ability to break into people’s minds to steal or alter their memories. However, Nilin has her memory erased after being arrested, and so sets off on a journey of self-discovery to restore her identity.
The game was previously shown off at last year's Gamescom under the name ADRIFT. Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details on Remember Me as we get them.----
