Website NeoGo has caught wind that Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 is being sold one month early via a retailer in Poznan, Poland.

The retailer has apparently sold numerous copies of the upcoming zombie horror sequel, despite the fact the game isn’t slated for official release until October 2, 2012.

Just in case you need convincing, NeoGAF appears to have the proof with a shot of the game unboxed. Note that the packaging itself is in German, with Polish subtitles fully selectable.

Apparently Capcom is aware of the situation, though pointed out it doesn’t comment on rumor and speculation.
