Capcom and Sumthing Else Music Works have announced the release of the official Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Original Soundtrack.
Due out on October 9, the soundtrack was composed by series veterans Shusaku Uchiyama and Takeshi Miura, who collectively have worked on games such as Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
The Darkside Chronicles is the second entry in Capcom’s on-the-rails shooter series, and retells the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica, plus an all-new scenario set in 2002.
Players are put in control of a number of classic characters from the long-running survival horror series, including Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside as they battle against hordes of zombies and B.O.W.s throughout Raccoon City and Rockfort Island.
The game hit PlayStation 3 back in June as part of the Chronicles HD Collection, and was originally released on the Wii in 2009.
Fans can grab the soundtrack at retail outlets, digital download via Amazon MP3, iTunes and other digital music websites.
