3D Realms is working on a new first-person shooter known as Earth No More, according to a listing on crowd-funding site Gambitious.

The post-apocalyptic blaster is listed for release on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 on the Radar Group, where Scott Miller, founder of 3D Realms, also serves as chief creative officer.

For the uninitiated, Radar Group is a brand creation, portfolio management and IP production firm.

The description for Earth No More is as follows: “Mankind’s relentless destruction of Earth awakens a biological response from deep within the planet’s crust that threatens an environmental apocalypse.”

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of the game, however. It was originally revealed five years ago under Recoil Games, who trumpeted a host of gameplay features, among which included a conversation system said to rival Mass Effect.

Back then, the concept revolved around placing gamers in the middle of an outbreak of poison red vines in a small New England town, which transforms the environment and local wildlife.
