Daniel Craig will help 007 Legends sell more, says Roger Moore

007 Legends is likely to see more copies thanks to the inclusion of Daniel Craig as James Bond, reckons ex-Bond actor, Sir Roger Moore.

Speaking to IGN, Moore admitted he wasn’t aware of the upcoming action-adventure title, which revisits several eras of the classic spy franchise.

“Daniel Craig will see more video games than me, so I think that’s what they should do. I’m not aware of the game, but I’m all for it,” he said.

Moore starred in more Bond movies than any actor in the series to date, debuting in 1973’s Live and Let Die and remained in the role until 1985’s A View To A Kill. Moore was 58 when he last slipped into 007’s tuxedo, making him the oldest actor to portray the British secret agent.

007 Legends is due out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2012. The game features an original, overarching narrative that ties together missions from Goldfinger, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day and Skyfall.
