Fresh Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified details drop

Fresh details on Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified have dropped via a Q&A on the EU PlayStation Blog, courtesy of Nihilistic Studios’ Robert Huebner.
For starters, Huebner mentions that the first-person shooter has progressed quite a lot since its appearance at Gamescom in August. Notably, he says the title has seen “a significant visual upgrade; a richer color palette, more detailed models and better lighting over all.”
He also touched on the recently-revealed maps Nukehouse and Range. The former, unsurprisingly, is inspired by the fan favourite Nuketown map, and attempts to capture the look and feel of the original while being tighter overall.
In terms of weapon modding, Huebner confirmed that guns will retain many of the attachments of previous Call of Duty titles; with suppressors, extended mags, grenade launcher add-ons and optics all making a comeback.
There will, however, be several new additions such as enhanced grip and adjustable stock. Players can unlock these mods by levelling up their weapons in multiplayer, with up to two attachments allowed for each primary weapon.
Elsewhere, he confirmed that Declassified will include 12 perks, both old and new. Returning perks include Hardline, Marksman, Sleight of Hand, and Lightweight. New to the table is Surplus (more starting ammo and grenades), Hardwired (immunity to Counter Spy Plane) and Toughness (less flinching when taking damage).
For more information, be sure to check out the full Q&A over on the EU PlayStation Blog. Black Ops Declassified is due for release exclusively on PlayStation Vita later this year.
