Tales of Xillia 2 tops Japanese charts

PlayStation 3-exclusive RPG Tales of Xillia 2 has topped the Japanese charts for the week ended November 4.

Developed by Namco Bandai, the title shifted an impressive 364,439 units upon its debut, and was followed by a further two PS3 titles: Okami HD and Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition.

Despite the PS3’s dominance on the software front, Nintendo 3DS still managed to take a comfortable lead over Sony’s flagship console. The handheld moved 93,989 units, while PS3 just sold over 21,000 followed by PSP and PS Vita.
