PS Vita 2.01 firmware released to fix firmware 2.00 issue

Sony released this evening a firmware update for its newest handheld that appears to fix some issues with features implemented in the 2.00 firmware update.

It appears that the PlayStation Cloud upload functionality has an issue regarding the save upload functionality that was made available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. To be exact, the issue caused the save uploading process to fail altogether. Now that this update is live, it should fix all PS Plus issues found in the 2.00 firmware update.

It may be disheartening to know that this update is mandatory, since not everyone has PS Plus, but the ability to upload saves makes for a secure situation--especially in regards to titles like Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Regardless, the problem has been alleviated, and the fix is only a download away.
