A German retailer has listed GTA V for release on March 15, 2013 before hastily amending the date to December 31, 2013. According to PCGames.de, Saturn offered pre-orders to customers giving away posters to those who snap up the game prior to release.
Rockstar has always said it would release GTA V in the Spring and in December Amazon sent an email to customers informing them that Rockstar’s action adventure would be released “sooner than expected.” Amazon also listed an estimated arrival date of March 27, 2013.
Retailers are always setting up placeholders for big games, but it’s unusual that the German retailer has quickly pulled its March15th date from its website. Could it have been under pressure from Rockstar?
