Tecmo Koei has announced that the formerly Wii U-exclusive Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is now heading to PlayStation 3. The game will launch in North America on April 2, 2013, and in Europe on April 5. Razor's Edge will be available both at retail and via digital download at launch.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is an expanded version of Ninja Gaiden 3. Gameplay underwent a facelift between the two, with Tecmo Koei redesigning the combat system, upgrading enemy AI, removing quick-time events, adding a robust upgrade system, and implementing a dismemberment feature. Another large addition in Razor's Edge came via additional playable characters that include Ayane, Momiji, and Kasumi.
This PS3 and Xbox 360 release will contain the same content as the Wii U version, plus all previous paid downloadable content and new exclusive goodies, including a new story campaign starring Ayane. In addition, all four characters will be playable in the new Chapter Challenge mode and Ninja Trials co-op play. Ninja Trials co-op will have 100 missions, which is three times the amount featured in the Wii U version. Lastly, new costumes for all four characters will be added in this release.
From the sound of things, Tecmo Koei is making this release of Ninja Gaiden 3 the definitive version of the game. For upcoming details, stay tuned to PSU.

I feel sad for the su***rs that have brought a wii-u for these so called exclusive games they were promised, me I would never buy a wii-u, the games are the same price as PS3 and you can't buy an extra game pad so you don't know how much it's gonna cost you if you buy the console now. For me this is gonna be nintendos krytonite, just like the sarturn for sega, plus next gen consoles are just around the corner and wii-u isn't next gen!
