The private invitation of numerous worldwide press outlets to Sony's PlayStation Meeting on February 20 signifies the importance of what will be revealed. Until now, we haven't known exactly how many journalists and investors will be attendance, but a recent report from Forbes paints a clear picture.
The business news outlet is reporting that media personnel and Sony investors in attendance on Wednesday evening will total up to 1,200 people. Such a massive gathering is unusual for industry meetings - unless something huge is planned. With Sony inviting so many people, it's easy to posit that a PlayStation 4 reveal--or similarly immense news--is extremely likely.
Does seeing the specific number of important people attending make you wish even more for Wednesday to arrive? Let us know in the comment section below, and tune in for PSU's official livestream of the entire event.

All I can say is that the next playstation better be my go to hardware for ALL my digital and entertainment needs. TV, music, movies, videos, games, internet, and social media. I pray the leap to be as big as the PS3 was from the PS2. I WANT IT ALL and am willing to pay the price. Hopefully they offer atleast 1TB harddrive this time around, already own the new 500GB white PS3, 1TB shouldn't be far fetched of an upgrade, should be standard IMO. Fingers crossed on 4K support and 64+ multiplayer

Sony held their 2012 Press conference at the Los Angeles Coliseum which can hold 10 times the number of the feb. 20 event even if it were only ha;f full E3 was a way bigger venue. Honestly I dont care how many people are going to be there I just want this system not to ruin the market by splitting the consumer base between the PS3 and the PS4 and not have some stupid functions that end up being the opposite of convenient for daily use.
Stop locking game saves so we can back up our stuff without paying for a cloud save or spending two hours backing EVERY piece of content up to a harddrive that will rewrite EVERYthing on your drive if you try to restore it. And if we can't use that back up to restore our game content in the event of a dead system give us a way to do that. Backwards compatibility is IMPORTANT and not this rumored GaiKai streaming garbage, I mean real, functional BC so that I can retire my old system and save some friggin' space, not to meantion continue to play the content I bought last gen that I haven't finished yet. I don't care about 4K. It will probably have it anyway but I'm not buying another HDtv for the foreseeable future and even if I did it wouldnt be anytime in the next 3 years because they're all more than 5 grand and they have to be over 70 inches to even make use of the detail, never mind that there wont be enough content to even justify it for another 4 to 6 years. And for god's sake Give us GAMES. -
