Sorry...its strikes me as yet another typical & generic run & gun shooter.

Why can't developers look back to the old tactical shooters & see what was so great then? Maybe they will develop a new shooter that can provide entertainment for both genres......like Socom1 & 2 did.

I know...harping on about a dead franchise sounds pretty sad. But thats what it has come to today.....where people can no longer think on how to improve whats there & only wish for what was in old shooters. Take the hint from Serellan.com........we want tactical shooters & not just "tactical menu choices".

Because all it takes is one noob with a rocket launcher and no fear of respawning to ruin a tactical shooter. It's easier to give everyone a lot of powerful weapons and let them go blow each other up with a few mild objectives thrown in to reduce the monotony. That's not to say this will turn out to be just that, who knows, maybe the move away from making more halo games means they have some new ideas beyond space marines but we'll have to wait and see.

So far of what I've seen, this game reminds me of Halo. It hasn't excited me at all yet, not making me want to go out and buy it when it releases. Im putting this title on the bench for right now on my wanted list, till I see anything that drives me to go out and get it when its time.
