Electronic Arts’ Crysis 3 has dethroned Aliens: Colonial Marines from the summit of the U.K. All Format Charts following its launch last week.

The sci-fi shooter also fended off competition from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which sliced its way into second place. A mere 5,550 copies separated the two games, though.

However, neither title was able to best Colonial Marines’ success in terms of overall opening sales.

Sadly for PlayStation Vita, the JRPG Persona 4 limped into the charts at a disappointing 32. Don't let that put you off though; it's a superb game, as you see from our review here.

Rounding out the Top Five meanwhile is FIFA 13, Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Aliens: Colonial Marines.
