PS4 controller's enhanced motion-sensing feature does not make it a MOVE replacement, says Sony

Though it’s confirmed that the PlayStation 4 controller will feature motion-sensing, it will not be a replacement for PlayStation MOVE.
Vice President of Sony Worldwide Studios Europe, Michael Denny has said that the Dualshock 4 will not have the array of features that PlayStation Move has, so the latter will continue to be the controller of choice for motion-sensing games.
Referring to the motion-sensing feature implemented into Dualshock 4, Denny said: “The feature you’re talking about is the light bar and how that may interact with the camera. Obviously the new 3D stereo camera and HD feed [will] be a lot better with AR aspects, and it can track the light source clearly in 3D so there are going to be features possible in a motion sense there. And obviously the DualShock 4 has improved SixAxis motion sensing so motion gaming is possible with the new controller”.
MOVE therefore will continue to be marketed as a separate controller that enhances the motion-sensing experience, while the same feature on the Dualshock 4 will simply give developers more choice while creating their games and allow for more creativity.
