Namco Bandai has confirmed One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 has achieved day-one shipments of over 500,000 units.
Released yesterday in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, the game is well on track to match its predecessor’s worldwide shipment figure of 1.2 million copies.
The actioner is scheduled to ship for PS3 in North America later this year, though won’t be available on PS Vita.
In Europe, the game will receive a sumptuous Collector’s Edition, which features a 14mc figurine of Luffy by renowned sculptor Keiji Iwakura. In addition, gamers who pre-order this or the regular edition, you’ll bag exclusive bonuses ‘to be revealed later on.’

I still need to get the first one, but I have to buy the UK version since I refuse to by it as a download. I did snag the demo for it from the HK store and it's pretty fun to play not sure how different it is from the first... or any other dynasty warriors game for that matter outside of the abilities and the enemies.
