GameStop seemingly confirms Battlefield 4 for next-gen

Battlefield 4 hasn’t been announced for PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720, but U.S. retail giant GameStop seems convinced the game is heading to next-generation systems.

That’s at least according to an email sent out by the company this week, which confirms “the game will be available for current and next-generation platforms and windows PC in fall 2013.”

Electronic Arts unveiled the military shooter at GDC earlier this week, mentioning only a PS3, PC and Xbox 360 release. A demo was shown off with the game running on the “world’s fastest graphics card,” the Radeon HD 7990.

Pre-ordering Battlefield 4 on any platform will net you the Premium expansion pack bonus at participating retailers.
