God of War: Ascension 1.04 patch detailed

Sony Santa Monica has released a hearty list of additions and fixes for the near-future 1.04 update for God of War: Ascension.
A major addition, especially for avid players of the Ascension multiplayer, is the increased level cap from 30 to 40. With this higher cap, players have access to two new relics, a new item, and an ultimate magic that's bound to each allegiance. Coined "Elite Levels," these next ten levels will bring more challenges and motivations to play, and Sony Santa Monica has assured that it will release more information on these Elite Levels as the patch release date draws closer.
With more levels come more statistics, and Santa Monica will bring to the table the ability for players to access personal accomplishments from their respective main menu: In addition to displaying your prowess in competitive combat, from death/kill ratios to win percentages, we want to see how you are faring in Trial of the Gods."
The audio fix about which we've reported is also to be included in update 1.04, and Santa Monica has put this issue as a priority to have alleviated in said update; we at PSU thank Santa Monica Studios again for reaching out to us yesterday for their correction.
As user feedback comes in on Ascension's multiplayer bugs, Santa Monica seeks to eliminate them as soon as possible, and the developer wishes for all who experience issues to direct their feedback to the official Ascension Multiplayer forums.
The ability for players to obtain and utilize shards is to be tweaked, especially in regards to shards that influence rarer weapons and shards required to unlock some armor, weapon stats, and magics.
Santa Monica closed its announcement by teasing the future existence of the developer's first downloadable content. As more information surfaces, PSU will be there to cover it.
