Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, the newest HD Collection announced last month, will include a feature that many JRPG fans love: Dual Audio.
Not only are PlayStation gamers gaining access to two titles that have never graced a PlayStation platform, they also receive the choice between Japanese and English voice actors for both Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. So, the possibility of Japanese voice-over with English subtitles is confirmed. Fans in the US can already preorder this collection on both Gamestop and Amazon, and it's scheduled to release in 2014; Amazon lists the game to release on March 31, 2014, but, since that lands on a Monday and games in the US normally launch on Tuesdays, certainly this date is merely a placeholder.
With Tales of Xillia and Tales of Xillia 2 finally making their respective ways to the West, more and more great Tales of content is at hand within the next year for PlayStation and JRPG fans. Stay tuned to PSU, your source of Tales of content.
Tim Nunes, US Managing Editor PSU, stumbled across Tales of Symphonia when he still played his Gamecube way back when, and no Tales of game has since gone under his radar, even if they're not all on Sony hardware. Reach out to him at his Twitter @BossSnake to talk about anything Tales.
