Assassin's Creed entry set in modern times not off the table
During a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Assassin's Creed series lead writer Darby McDevitt revealed Ubisoft's willingness to explore the idea of creating an installation to the series set in modern times.
"There's always a chance [for a modern day Assassin's Creed], but one of the biggest draws of the series is the historical 'tourism'", McDevitt said, as posted on the official Assassin's Creed Twitter feed.
By historical tourism, McDevitt is of course referring to the variety of periods in history the series has explored thus far, from the Renaissance and the Third Crusade to the American Revolution.
Would you be interested in a modern day Assassin's Creed, or would you prefer Ubisoft stick with distant past settings?
