Gearbox has revealed that it will be releasing an additional two expansion packs for Borderlands 2.
First up is the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge. This throws in a new map and mode to battle “overpowered” enemies and the chance to bump your character’s level for extra challenges.
Borderlands 2’s level cap will be boosted by 11, allowing you to max out at 72. The game shipped with a level cap of 50, which was later raised via the Ultimate Vault Hunter pack to 61 back in April.
Next up is the return of undead chap T.K. Baha from the original Borderlands, who will form part of the new Headhunter Pack. This also features multiple missions as well as a scrap with boss Jacques O’ Lantern.
Gearbox confirmed that the first batch of DLC will set you back around $5 (£3.30) while a price for the Headhunter Pack has yet to be announced.
Note that if you purchased the Season Pass you’ll still have to fork out for this additional DLC, as the pass concluded with Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep last month.
