Sony isn't currently planning a PS4 and PS Vita bundle

A bundle featuring PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita is not currently in the pipeline, Sony Computer Entertainment UK boss Fegral Gara has revealed.

Speculation has been mounting on the possibility of bundling both formats together ever since PS4 was announced back in February. After all, Sony’s next-generation console shares a key relationship with PS Vita, chief among which includes the ability to stream content to the handheld.

Gara told OPM (via VG247) that while Sony doesn’t have any plans to “put the two together in one box,” there still exists the opportunity to work with retailers to “put them together alongside each other as at least a great companion trade up sale.”

PS4 is scheduled to ship this November 15 in the U.S. and November 29 in PAL markets. PS Vita was released in February 2012, and received a price cut at Gamescom a few weeks back.
