A Redditor and PAX attendee is reporting that the DualShock 4 will work as a native PC gamepad when connected to your computer via USB.

Other details are vague, though this comes from a Galak-Z dev who confirmed the information on the show floor. Numerous PS4 demos at conventions like E3 and gamescom were allegedly running on PC hardware with a DualShock 4 connected for play. It's currently unknown whether a connected DualShock 4 will perform as a DirectInput device or an Xinput device. We also don't know, at this point, if Bluetooth input will be supported; more than likely, you'll have to connect via USB first and establish a Bluetooth connection with third-party drivers.
