Metal Gear Solid V won't feature as many cutscenes as past games

The creator behind the Metal Gear franchise has revealed that the next chapter in the stealth-action series, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, won’t be as cut-scene heavy as past instalments.

Speaking at a Q&A session (via VG247) at his studio’s new Los Angeles branch this week, Hideo Kojima said that Big Boss’s latest outing will be told via a single, long camera shot without any cuts.

“We’re really trying to get the player perspective, so we’re not really gonna…even in the cutscenes we’re not going to cut the camera,” said Kojima-san.
