Telltale reveals new Game of Thrones video game adaptation

It's certainly a busy evening for Telltale Games, as yet another series is now revealed to be in the pipeline - Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series.

Revealed at Spike’s VGX Awards, the announcement comes only hours after Telltale unveiled their partnership with Gearbox Software to create its own storytelling vision of the Borderlands world.

Telltale’s Kevin Bruner and Dan Connors joined show hosts Geoff Keighley and Joel McHale to discuss the game, disclosing that it will be based on the TV show, rather than George R.R. Martin’s books specifically. The focus will be on narrative more than on gore and violence, both prevalent in the much-acclaimed series. The game is due out in 2014 with no platforms specified yet.

Check out the teaser below.
