GTA V will get 'substantial' single-player DLC in 2014, confirms Rockstar

Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will receive its first chunk of single-player DLC in 2014.

The company revealed on the Rockstar Newswire website that ‘substantial’ DLC is planned for the critically-acclaimed action-adventure game, promising ‘multiple’ expansion packs .

“For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto 5, we have big plans for substantial additions to 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.”

In addition, Rockstar confirmed plans to implement co-operative heists into the game’s multiplayer component, Grand Theft Auto Online. The firm added there’s “much more still to be announced.”

First up for GTA V however is the Deathmatch & Race Creators Beta, which kicks off on December 10.
