Bethesda unleashes grisly new The Evil Within screens

Another day, another set of brand-spanking new The Evil Within screenshots to feast your eager eyes on.

Coming days after the game’s director, Shinji Mikami lamented that players were more difficult to scare than ever, publisher Bethesda Softworks has revealed another four blood-soaked screens for its upcoming Survival Horror title.

The screens, seen in our gallery, show the protagonist, Sebastian, investigating a grisly abattoir-like chamber with multiple bodies and organs strewn from the ceilings; creepy hospital-esque rooms with an undisclosed demonic being; and finally the appearance of a butcher-type foe - hell bent on tracking Sebastian by any means necessary.

The Evil Within is currently penned in for a late 2014 release and is scheduled to be unleashed on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
