Male grooming brand AXE has teamed up with Electronic Arts to deliver a rather humorous Battlefield 4-inspired trailer which ties in with a Wal-Mart in-store promotion where consumers can win some Battlefield goodies and a trip to Germany.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning some swag, in-game content and a four day trip to GamesCom in Germany in 2014 is keep an eye out in Wal-Mart stores for special Battlefield 4-branded AXE products.

Check out the trailer below which starts off as an explosive Battlefield 4 intro but then turns into something much more light-hearted…

We recently reviewed both the PS3 and PS4 versions of Battlefield 4. In the PS3 iteration we concluded that EA’s shooter “sends off the current generation of shooters in prime form. There's prowess across the board, from narrative to action, and technical hiccups can't derail a game that is simply great on PS3”.

The same applies to the PS4 version, though the extra hardware oomph makes explosions and scenery even more impressions.

"The explosions are breathtaking—simply breathtaking. Watching things blow up in Battlefield 4 is a thousand times more rewarding than even watching them in movies, because they look like they belong in movies and you’re experiencing them firsthand and in first-person. With more particles and effects taking up each and every graphical element of this game, far more than the PS3 version's already substantial count, dust clouds and flames are more vivid, thicker, and all around as realistic as the finest in cinema".

Battlefield 4 launched on October 29 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
