Naughty Dog: no more single-player DLC for The Last of Us

The Last of Us won’t receive additional single-player DLC beyond the forthcoming ‘Left Behind’ expansion, Naughty Dog has confirmed.

Speaking on the U.S. PlayStation Blog, Eric Monacelli, the studio’s Community Strategist, said that the post-apocalyptic adventure will still be getting multiplayer DLC in the near future.

“There’s multiplayer DLC up next. We don’t have any more single player DLC planned,” he said. “It’ll be good length. Depends on how good you are and what difficult you’re playing at really.”

Left Behind is due out on February 14. The DLC highlights Ellie’s early adventures as she teams up with pal Riley while staying at a boarding school in the quarantine zone.

In recent months there has been speculation suggesting that The Last of Us will receive a Game of the Year Edition release, possibly on PlayStation 4. However, nothing official has ever been confirmed.
