PS4 system firmware update 1.60 now live

The time’s arrived folks, Sony’s much-touted PlayStation system software: version 1.60 update is now available for download right across the globe.

You will be prompted to download and install the update once you start your PS4 next, with version 1.60 itself weighing in at 336MB. The installation process takes roughly five minutes and includes a plethora of stability fixes and the ability to finally use Pulse headsets on Sony’s flagship system.
