Another newly announced game NIS America will be localizing for release in 2014 is Battle Princess of Arcadias, a side-scrolling, beat 'em up action RPG for the PlayStation 3 that released last September in Japan.

Developed by the studio Apollosoft (Ragnarok Tactics), the game stars Battle Princess Plume who must defend her kingdom, Schwert, from hordes of monsters. In order to accomplish this task, she must build an army of warriors to fight the invading forces. Players are able to switch between characters in real-time and each level wields opportunities to gain skills, materials, new allies, and weapons.

If you have a hankering for some old-school-style, beat 'em up combat, look no further than Battle Princess of Arcadias when it releases in 2014 on the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe. For purists, the game will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles.
