South Park: The Stick Of Truth anal and abortion scenes deemed too risky for European and UK audience

Scenes involving abortion and anal-probing will not appear in the final European and U.K. cuts of Ubisoft’s upcoming role-playing game, South Park: The Stick Of Truth.

A review copy recieved by arrived with a note telling the company that the scenes, including five anal probing procedures, have been replaced with on-screen text.

The note also reads: “The accompanying literature adds, “Seven scenes of about 20 seconds each are censored in the EMEA console versions of South Park: The Stick of Truth. The decision to cut this content from the game was made by Ubisoft EMEA.”

The censorship extends to The Middle East and Africa, yet the U.S. seems to have escaped the ban.

South Park: The Stick Of Truth will still arrive with a PEGI 18 rating slapped on it when it arrives on March 7 (E.U.) and March 4 (N.A.)
