Sucker Punch Productions' lead designer leaves Sony-owned studio
In amidst the excitement of Sucker Punch’s InFamous: Second Son release on March 21, it’s been revealed that acting lead designer Jaime Griesemer has left Sony for undisclosed reasons.
The designer - whose credited work includes Destiny and a whole host of Halo titles during his tenure at Bungie Studios – joined the Seattle-based studio in 2011 and was at the helm of its latest title in the InFamous series.
No reason has been given for Griesemer’s departure other than a brief mention on his Twitter but we expect official confirmation from the appropriate channels imminently.
@GiantGodzilla Thanks. I'm excited for people to get their hands on it. And yes, I have left SP. Not really talking about it yet, tho.— Jaime Griesemer (@32nds) March 18, 2014
