PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has received a brand new update courtesy of Sony Santa Monica.
The update applies a variety of balance tweaks to the beat-’em-up’s extensive roster, in what Santa Monica calls “the ultimate balance update.”
“This update truly creates a new playing field for all challengers.”
It added: “Over the past months we've read every word, clicked every thread, assessed the game balance inside out, to ensure as best as possible, this balance update would not only bring a superior new challenge to the game, but also feel heavily impacted by your voice.
"Thank YOU and our hats off to SuperBot Entertainment for creating an incredible fighting game for PlayStation fans world-wide."
Full details on the update can be found here.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in holiday 2012. However, the game didn’t fare all that well commercially, and Sony parted with developer Superbot Entertainment soon after its release.
In August 2013, the company also said that the fighter would not receive any additional content, such as characters and stages.
