Sony files mysterious trademarks for Entwined and Kill Strain

Sony Computer Entertainment America filed two trademarks for Entwined and Kill Strain via the USPTO on April 14 and 15, respectively, hinting towards two new additions to Sony's ever-expanding library of games.

It's a common gesture for Sony to file this kind of document before a major event like E3, as they did last year with The Order: 1886 (via NeoGAF). Seeing that both trademarks are listed as video game software, it's safe to confirm that we'll be seeing them in the form of actual games.

The gaming community is predicting that Kill Strain will page a new chapter in the Syphon Filter franchise, bearing in mind that the most recent entry in the series was Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain. Others are pitching that Entwined is Media Molecule's next project, but clues influenced from the trademark's name are more illusive.

Do these predictions match your expectations? Give us a shout below.
