Suikoden II getting PSN release, suggests ESRB listing

The ESRB has indicated that PlayStation classic Suikoden II will be getting re-released on PlayStation Network.

Konami’s old-school RPG has been given a T rating, and as such is poised to be released as a PSOne Classic, so it’ll be playable on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Nothing official has been announced as of yet, though the ESRB has outed numerous PSOne Classics in the past, so expect to hear something soon.

Suikoden II was released in the U.S. back in 1999, and made the jump to Europe the following year. The game takes place several years after its predecessor, with gamers jumping into the shoes of a silent protagonist in the midst of an invasion by the Kingdom of Highland of the City States of Jowston.

The game was only available in a limited print run, though received positive reviews from critics and is regarded as the best Suikoden II title to date.
