The Girl and the Robot – the indie-developed third-person adventure title – has been confirmed for release on PlayStation 4, developer Flying Carpet Games has confirmed.

The developer announced the news via its Kickstarter, having recently met with delegates from Sony who expressed much interest in the project. The news means that the PS4 joins the likes of the Wii U and PC (Steam and Mac) as the choice avenues for release - confirming further that Sony’s indie proclamation is in full swing.

The intriguing game revolves around a little girl who happens upon a robot who she can control via an amulet as she attempts to escape a castle ruled by an evil queen.

As ever, we’ll keep you updated with any new information regarding the game when it hits. Give us your thoughts of the game below.
