Sony admits it was ‘a mistake’ to devote too much time to Powers at E3

The president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) has admitted the format holder spent a little too long waffling on about TV show Powers during its E3 press briefing this year.

“We spent too much time talking about Powers. So we could have made [that] a bit shorter. So that was a mistake,” said Shuhei Yoshida, during an interview with GameReactor.

Despite these hiccups, Sony’s E3 bash was well-received among gamers and industry folk alike, with the company showcasing a wide variety of software, such as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Batman: Arkham Knight, The Order: 1886, and LittleBigPlanet 3.
