Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment's first trailer will leave you wanting a franchise MMO

Bandai Namco has released the first English trailer for Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, the PlayStation Vita game based on the popular light novel and anime franchise.

Watching the action role-playing gameplay in the video may make you want a proper MMO set in the SAO universe. Luckily, Hollow Fragment features up to 4-player ad-hoc cooperative multiplayer if you are fortunate to live near others who own the Vita.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will include an HD remaster of its predecessor, SAO: Infinity Moment, and both are set in an alternate storyline to the original light novel/anime canon. New characters will join franchise favorites like Kirito and Asuna in this pseudo-MMO experience.

No specific release date has been announced but will launch sometime this summer in North America and Europe.
