The ‘Arkham Knight Scarecrow Nightmare Pack’ for Batman: Arkham Knight will be available exclusively on PS4 and feature a spin-off story featuring Scarecrow.
Sony writes:
‘Gotham falls victim to Scarecrow’s fear toxin, transforming the famous city into a twisted, hellish nightmare in the Batman: Arkham Knight Scarecrow Nightmare Pack.
Tear through the city in the all-new batmobile and face off against a towering vision of Scarecrow and his undead army as they spread terror on the streets.’
Exclusive content for Xbox and PlayStation owners is becoming quite the norm, with games such as Watch Dogs, Destiny and Kingdom Under Fire II also dishing out extra stuff for PS3 and PS4 gamers. It does seem a shame that owners of both Sony and Microsoft consoles can’t just enjoy the same content from day one, but as long as there’s fierce competition between the two rivals it’s likely to continue.
A release date has yet to be confirmed for Batman: Arkham Knight, though it’s rumoured to launch in 2015. In the meantime, check out our hands-on impressions from E3 2014.
