Destiny app reveals PvP modes, suggests more Halo-inspired multiplayer playlists
A screenshot, apparently from the Android and iOS companion app for Bungie’s Destiny, reveals what could be a complete list of PvP modes available when the first-person shooter launches in September.
An image of the app was posted by Reddit user Neon Dr, revealing five PvP modes.

Most of the game modes listed seem self-explanatory, especially if you take a look at some of the playlists that Bungie created for the Halo franchise.
Skirmish - Likely to be the playlist that consists of objective-based team modes, which could possibly include variants of Halo’s Big Team Battles, Capture The Flag modes and others.
Control – this mode was available in the Alpha phase, and sees both teams attempting to capture various bases.
Lockdown - could see players attempting to defend a base against the clock while the other teams assaults?
Team – could be the team deathmatches playlist?
Rumble mode - could be a variation of Halo’s rumble pit playlist which consists of free-for-all matches with games like King of the Hill, Juggernaut and Headhunter?
If you have any ideas what these playlists could represent, let us know in the comments below.
