LittleBigPlanet's Sackboy congratulates Germany on historic World Cup win

LittleBigPlanet’s seminal little show-off Sackboy has lent his congratulations to the German soccer team for its victory at this year’s FIFA World Cup.

Taking to LittleBigPlanet’s official Twitter page, the cheeky avatar – painted in the national colours of Germany – paraded the World Cup in celebration of the historic event where the German’s claimed a fourth trophy; their first in 24 years.

We don’t expect a German-themed skin or avatar to be made available for Sumo Digital’s latest LittleBigPlanet title but it surely won’t stop a whole host of gamers from trying to recreate it for themselves.

An extra-time goal by Mario Götze was what won it for the Germans in the end against an Argentinean side – captained by the precocious Lionel Messi – who weren’t bereft of chances throughout the match.

Are you eagerly anticipating the launch of LittleBigPlanet 3 on both PS3 and PS4? Don’t forget to drop us a line in the comments section below.
